A source close to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki about the political blocs to reach a preliminary consensus on the nomination of candidates to assume responsibility for security ministries to form a single package and on the basis of political consensus, describing the scenario that has been re-vote on the Vice-President of the Republic within the dome of the parliament.
The source, who preferred not to be named, said the political blocs, introducing new names to head the security ministries, indicating that there is substantial convergence between the views and political views between the blocks where the coming days will see an announcement about the names that have been agreed upon. The source indicated that the National Alliance Bmarchih still adheres to the Ministry of Interior and National Security.
