Baghdad (AIN) -The Iraqi National Alliance (INA) stressed the urgent need to enhance the national ties and standing up against the challenges through speeding up holding the National Meeting as soon as possible.
A statement by (INA) received by All Iraq News Agency AIN mentioned that "The Iraqi National Alliance held its regular meeting last Tuesday night, headed by Ibrahim al-Jaafari and in presence of the Premier Nouri al-Maliki."
"The Meeting reviewed the current political posture besides discussing the most crucial issues and the draft resolutions in the Council of Ministers," the statement added.
The statement noted that the (INA) urges to expedite forming the new Independent Higher Election Commission and endorsing the Cassation Court members for the great importance of these two institutions in promoting the democracy and enabling the legal foundations to practice their work properly. /End/
