Vote of no confidence from the government .. A constitutional right and the work of democratic Malikite but angry?

Posted 16/04/2012 05:09 AM

Books editor of Political Affairs:raises upset MPs Maliki's coalition and confidante of Prime Minister of politicians, analysts and media subordinate to him in "the Iraqi Media Network," or other platforms loyal to him, the issue of no-confidence from the government, fundamental questions to understand all those battalion defending tooth and nail for Maliki , of democracy, and how to look at experiences of no-confidence of the Governments of democratic countries many in the world?

It is clear that, worried of the references to the vote of no confidence from the government, do not realize that the right guaranteed by the Constitution, even though they fill the delay vote pro to abide by the constitution.

Iraqi parliament to give confidence to the Maliki government .. Is able to withholding?

But they also may come to recognize this very well and know that no confidence is part of the democratic process, but what bothers them is that the no-confidence in Maliki mean the end of a series of privileges and positions and contract obligations.

This is probably what bothers battalion Malikite political, media, understanding while scrambling among themselves in order to nail the title is the most in defense of his master the Prime Minister, but ignore the vote of no confidence from the government, just a step may succeed according to the administration of the democratic game and may face failure while not find enough votes in Parliament, namely, that has Vstni more confidence in the government and its president, as it means that the government won a bet through a democratic process are in their favor and not vice versa.

battalion Malikite which continues to refuse to issue a no-confidence from the government, ridiculed once, and attack biting again, but stresses actually defending al-Maliki as "the leader the only" which can not be undermined, as if no-confidence abomination of Satan, just as he is a constitutional right and a democratic, he got hurt but he is in favor of strengthening the political process and to deepen its democracy.

Yes, but there's been so many news articles (the video of Talabani recently) pertaining to this subject over the last 2 weeks especially, so it's definitely possible. The Kurds are pushing hard as they form their alliances to come to an agreement before going to the extreme "no confidence vote" while Maliki cries that everything he does is constitutional, everything everyone else does is "unconstitutional" such as the Erbil Agreement which is the main reason why he doesn't want it to happen. He's just not willing to give up his power and that's what that will do.

Thank God the Kurds with Talabani and Barzani are holding strong -- and Maliki approved it in the first place so why the change of heart? He's a masterful stall-tactic artist, IMO.

Iraqiya forms coalition to withdraw confidence from Maliki

16/04/2012 18:29

BAGHDAD, April 16 (AKnews) - The Iraqiya list, Kurdish Blocs Coalition, National Coalition and "important" religious authorities will join forces to replace Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.

The details of the understandings between the groups will be announced soon, according to the Iraqiya list yesterday.

The party, led by former prime minister Ayad al-Allawi, said it had begun making moves to achieve a "national consensus" to withdraw the confidence of Maliki's government over his management of the Iraqi State, and said he taken all powers.

Maliki has responded that the powers granted to him are constitutional and those who oppose them must change the constitution instead of blaming opponents.

The spokesman for the National Accord Movement, Hadi al-Dhalimi, said that the procedures for the withdrawal of confidence will be announced at a meeting between political leaders to be held very soon, but did not specify the date.

The move comes amid the escalation of differences between Erbil and Baghdad, where the former accused the latter of escaping the implementation of agreements and described Maliki as someone who is trying to acquire all the top governmental positions.

A source close to Maliki ruled out the possibility of any political movement affecting the position of SLC and Maliki.

Izzat al-Shabandar said: "I personally hope the alliances are disbanded, whether at the level of the Iraqiya, National Coalition or Kurdish Blocs Coalition.

"The disbandment of the political blocs is an evidence and a message to politicians that alliances built on a sectarian basis do not hold up and they must think about the formation of alliances on a practical basis."

The differences between the political blocs escalated after the arrest warrant was issued against the Iraqi Vice President Tariq al-Hashimi and most recently after the arrests of Electoral Commission Chairman Faraj al-Haidari and member of the Board of Commissioners Karim al-Tamimi.

While the leaders in the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, led by Ammar al-Hakim and belongs to the National Coalition (NC), considered the withdrawal of confidence would complicate the issues.

Aziz al-Ugaili, the Deputy for the National Alliance, called for the end of current differences and to reach an understanding through the National Conference that President Jalal al-Talabani called for.

yes we know that because thats what we do is read and study our investment. we are not concerned about the bickering of the goi. that is thier nature to argue and fight, our concern right now is chapter 7 and taxes and inflation. the goi will work itself out

It appears that our studies, analysis, and interpretation are on two different paths. Leadership is all important when it comes to progress, commitment, Erbil, HCL, and a fully formed GOI (with ministers) --and that's Maliki's job.

I see it as far more deeper than just bickering-- Maliki's not working for his country, not following the Constitution, nor fulfilling his promises that's crushing their economy. Being broke, without an international recognized currency, a paralyzed economy that will take more than working itself out. Chapter 7 will not bring on a fully formed government or anything else and that's why Al Sadr claims to have the paperwork done for Maliki's new replacement.
