BAGHDAD / With: Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki for the central government having enough evidence to prove the involvement of official bodies in the Kurdistan region of smuggling oil out of Iraq.
Al-Maliki, said on Tuesday that the smuggling of oil from the Kurdistan region out of the country, is the loss of the wealth of the people for the benefit of individuals and mafias, revealing, according to his interview with the Kurdish newspaper Awene.
Maliki said in an interview: "We have our work to prevent the smuggling of oil from Kurdistan out of Iraq, has talked with the Iranian side on this subject, but away from the media," adding that "this phenomenon represents a loss of the wealth of the people for the benefit of individuals and mafias."
Maliki said that "has been displayed images of oil tankers smuggling oil from the field Naftkhaneh in Khanaqin, a Kurdish officials, and supported the charge of the case," noting that "the official pointed out that the smuggling." (Finished)
