He said Hassoun told the News} {Euphrates that "Barzani feel that he lives in isolation because of his recent comments against al-Maliki as well as the failure of his visit to the United States, wants to come out of isolation by calling for a meeting of political leaders."
He added "there is no justification for holding a political meeting outside the framework of the national meeting, especially as the political blocs come a long way in the talks in order to hold this meeting to comment on it in hopes of resolving political differences."
Hassoun, stressed "the need not to respond to a call by Barzani's political blocs and to intensify its efforts to speed up the national meeting," adding that "the right of any political bloc to convene a meeting of the political blocs, but after a national meeting."
