Minister of Communications for Iraq Confirmed as Opening Keynote Speaker at Iraq Telecoms 2012

(openPR) - The CWC Group has confirmed H.E. Mohammed Tawfik Allawi, The Minister of Communications for the Iraqi Government will present the opening keynote address at Iraq Telecoms 2012, taking place on 12- 14 November in Istanbul, Turkey. He will discuss the role of the Iraqi telecommunications industry as a key driver for economic growth, and will provide an overview of the current status of the telecoms sector in Iraq.
In its seventh year, Iraq Telecoms is an internationally renowned conference and brings together over 300 government officials and leaders of telecoms operators and service providers from around the globe meet to discuss current issues and opportunities across the Iraqi telecommunication value chain. The conference is popular for its networking prospects and this year will once again offer delegates important opportunities to meet new and existing investors and suppliers throughout the two days including; coffee breaks, corporate lunches and networking evening functions.
H.E. Mohammed Tawfik Allawi, Minister of Communications commented at Iraq Telecoms 2011 on “the huge importance of CWC’s Iraq Telecoms conference for the Iraqi telecommunications sector, in bringing together all the major players in the industry”.
Following on the success of previous years, Iraq Telecoms will yet again provide a platform for senior level decision makers from the Iraqi Ministry of Communications, Iraqi Parliament, Kurdistan Ministry of Communications, The Communications Commission and major industry players, to discuss partnerships and tenders within the Iraqi telecoms industry.
