Iraq and Kuwait sign four common protocols
BAGHDAD / Baghdadiya News / .. According to a source familiar with the ongoing meetings between Iraq and the Kuwaiti delegation, on Sunday evening, that Iraq and Kuwait signed four protocols in common.
The source told / Baghdadiya News /, "The Iraq and Kuwait signed four protocols between the two countries," noting that the protocols include the Convention on the navigation in the Hor Abdullah and the Convention for the Protection of the environment and the Convention on the transfer of passengers between the two countries and the Convention to form a committee for the exchange of experience and training and convergence of views between the two countries ".
The source added that "the two sides decided to form a joint committee regarding the compensation of Kuwait by Iraqi, and the Commission to demarcate the borders and the status of border pillars and the Committee to follow up the missing file and a special committee of the joint oil fields."
The source noted that "the conferees decided to expand the border center in Safwan, Kuwait and allow the opening of a consulate in Basra."
He met Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, the Kuwaiti delegation which included Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al Hamad Al-Sabah, on Sunday morning, he met a number of officials in the Iraqi government.
The delegation was received by the Kuwaiti and Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari and other officials at the State and the Iraqi government.
