MP for the Iraqi List, Hamid al-Mutlaq, the House is able to cancel the agreements concluded by the government recently with the Kuwaiti side, if these agreements were detrimental to the interests of the country.
Mutlaq said in a press statement that the House can cancel any agreement concluded by the government if it believed that that Convention is not harmful to the country in its favor.
He added that Parliament has the power of legislation and therefore unable to legislation and the issuance of laws and decisions that would enable it to any government decision to cancel a negative impact on the country and its future.
