Baghdad (AIN) –The Iraqi National Coalition holds a meeting to discuss the political crisis on Wednesday evening.
Source from INC confirmed "INA holds the meeting currently at the house of the Iraqi National Congress, Ahmed al-Chalabi, to discuss the political crisis," without mentioning further information.
Earlier, informed source stated revealed "Najaf meeting, which involved leaders of political blocs, resulted in two messages sent to the Iraqi National Alliance and the President, Jalal Talabani, to withdraw confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.
The source stated to All Iraq News Agency (AIN) "The message sent to the INA involves a request to nominate a candidate to replace Maliki within a week."
"The message sent to Talabani involved a call to withdraw confidence from Maliki," the source added.
A crucial political meeting was held in Najaf province on last Saturday, some political leaders attended the meeting while some others did not. /
