Assem Jihad: starting tomorrow, the competition for investment in 12 exploration blocks

Spokesman of the Ministry of Oil, Assem Jihad, that "The ministry will launch on Wednesday the competition between 46 international oil company to invest in 12 exploration blocks, most of them gas."
Jihad said that "The operation is part of an Iraqi plan to add new reserves of natural gas and crude oil in the country."
"The competition for the fourth licensing round investment of 12 exploration blocks and a two-day to compete in a global 46 companies participated in most of the past licensing rounds conducted by the ministry since 2009."
He said he "will be allocated on the first day of competition on six exploratory patches, while the second day is devoted to the second six patches, and competitions will be conducted in an atmosphere of transparency and the presence of the media." Ended 2
