Baghdad (AIN) –The Iraqiya Slate announced gathering more than 163 MPs' signatures to withdraw confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.
The spokesperson of the IS, Maysoun al-Damlouji, stated to AIN "We managed to get the required signatures to withdraw confidence from Maliki," noting that "The MPs' signatures were collected from all the blocs."
"The project of withdrawing confidence from Maliki is a national project supported by the President, Jalal Talabani, the Head of the IS, Ayad Allawi, and the head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, in addition to other blocs from the Iraqi National Alliance."
"There are no foreign interferences behind this project as claimed but the State of Law Coalition including MP, Izzat al-Shahbander, started to visit Qatar and the KSA to prevent withdrawing confidence," she stressed.
