Mulla: Maliki's government could be considered part of the past

Baghdad (NINA) –Iraqiya slate's spokesperson, Hayder al-Mulla, said that, "Maliki's government can be considered part of the past"
In a statement to NINA on Sunday, June 3, Mulla said, "Current government can be considered to be part of the past, after having gathered about 200 signatures demanding withdrawing confidence from it."
Earlier, spokesperson for Iraqiya slate, Maysoun al-Damalouji, said that count down toward withdrawing confidence from Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has started, since the number of signatures collected supportive of it have exceeded half of lawmakers.
Damalouji said, "Political blocs expect Maliki to submit his resignation prior to the process of withdrawing confidence begins, which is expected to start in the coming days."
But a source close to the government denied this, he told NINA that what is being said that Talabani has sent a letter to Parliament demanding withdrawing confidence from Maliki, not true, and are mere propaganda. / End.
