U.S. Delegation Arrives in Baghdad
Baghdad, July 09 (QNA) - A high-level American delegation arrived in Baghdad on a two-day visit to Iraq, an Iraqi Foreign Ministry source said. The source said that the delegation, which comprises members of the U.S. Congress and the U.S. government, will meet with Iraqi President Jalal Talabani, Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and other political leaders. It pointed out that the delegation will discuss a number of issues concerning the political situation and the U.S. withdrawal from Iraq, as well as the possibility of the remaining of a part of the U.S. forces to assist and train Iraqi forces.
