Shafaq News/ The Iraqia List, accused on Monday, the Prime minister Nuri al-Maliki of "seeking to provoke sectarian and national crises" between the segments of Iraqi society, while criticizing what it described as trying to play the role of the governor on the rights of the Arabs against the Kurds.
A spokesman of the Iraqia the deputy Haider Mulla said in a statement "Shafaq News" received a copy of, that the list " We diagnosed frequently the non-constitutional attempts and efforts of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki for clinging to power after he sensed the mounting of political and popular rejection to him."
Al Mulla said that "among these attempts his efforts to provoke, sectarian and ethnic segments crises in the Iraqi society, and tries (Maliki) to appear today as a protector of the rights of the Arabs against the Kurds as if he deals on the grounds that Iraqis are not one people with the aim of straining the situation among the population of those areas ".
The spokesman of Iraqia said that Maliki pretended to forget "that he was one of the sponsors of writing the Constitution, and the Article 140 and he was the owner of the secret bilateral agreements for trading off the rights of Iraqis for survival in the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, instead of resorting to constructive dialogue to resolve problems.".
"If al-Maliki is concerned about not giving up the Arab areas in Iraq as he claims, how does he explain to us his abdication of tens of kilometers of Iraqi territories and vital waterways to some neighboring countries, which came in his recent visits to them without the consent of the Iraqi people." He inquired.
Mullah referred to Maliki's visit to Kuwait, and added that he "tried through it to provide funds and land and rights of Iraq in return of political support for himself and his party."
He continued, "we must point out that the Iraqi people in general and the people of the provinces bordering the Kurdistan Region in particular and their representatives not to be deceived by the Maliki game and his methods of provoking the national conflict between Iraqis in order to achieve his and his party's agenda."
All areas adjacent to the Kurdistan Region, particularly Nineveh and Diayala, has disputed territories between Baghdad and Erbil, while both sides are disputing over Kirkuk as a whole.
