Najaf (AIN) –The head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, thanked the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, for holding the sessions of the Council of Ministers in the provinces.
In response to question by one of his followers over holding the sessions of the Council of Ministers in the provinces in coincidence with Erbil and Najaf meetings, Sadr said "I expect this step to be a response to what I call the pressures."
"We must thank him for this step and to call him to continue in holding these sessions and to hold them only when the elections approach," he concluded.
The Council of Ministers, previously, held three sessions in Basra, Kirkuk, Nineveh and Dhi-Qar provinces to discuss the problems of these provinces. /End/
