Sadr thanked Maliki for holding cabinet's sessions in the provinces

Baghdad (NINA) – Leader of the Sadrist Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, thanked on Thursday, June 14, Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki for holding cabinet sessions in the provinces, calling that they do not be limited during election period.
In replying to a question from one of his followers concerning holding of cabinet sessions in the provinces simultaneously Erbil and Najaf meetings, Sadr said, "He does not exclude that that the step is beneficial, it came after pressures or in response.
Sadr affirmed, "We must thank him in this regards." He called on him to continue in holding cabinet meetings in the provinces and not to have them limited during election time.
Since the beginning of current year, the cabinet held four sessions outside Baghdad, the first was held in Basra province on 13 February, the second in Kirkuk province on 18 May, the third in Niniveh province on 29 May and the fourth in Thi-Qar province on 12 June. / End.
