The MP said the block free parliamentary representative Ali al-Timimi Sadrist movement to nominate Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki for a third term will lead to the division of the country and prove the foundations of the dictatorship, according to a press release today.
Tamimi said that the Sadr movement's insistence on the withdrawal of confidence from Maliki no personal interest or a dispute with one, but in the interest of the country that may be threatened by higher survival of Maliki in power, he said.
It is noteworthy that the leader of Sadr Muqtada al-Sadr recently renewed his refusal to renew the mandate of the al-Maliki for a third time.
