Political sources confirmed that there is a new agreement for which negotiations are currently taking place between the Pentagon and the Iraqi Ministry of Defense in order to pass a new agreement under the title "training and armament."
The sources said the new agreement being plotted behind the scenes authorizes the survival of approximately 16 000 U.S. troops to stay in Iraq.
