Erbil, July 30 (Rn) - A member of the Commission on oil and gas, the House of Representatives of Iraq, today, Monday, the postponement of the meeting which was scheduled for next Wednesday between the Committee and its counterpart for the selection of one of the legal bills of the three oil and gas provided to the Council.

And the Iraqi Council of Representatives of three draft laws for oil and gas, because one of them in 2007 before being suspended for lack of consensus on it, while the second was made by the Commission on oil and gas in the Council, while the provision of third in 2011 by the Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister for Energy, Hussain al-Shahristani .

According to Farhad Atrushi told the Kurdish news agency (Rn), that "the draft law of oil and gas in Iraq too big to be approved in one meeting," pointing to "postpone the meeting which was scheduled for next Wednesday between the Committee and its counterpart legal to select one of the bills of oil and three gas provided to Iraqi parliament. "

He added that he Atrushi "was scheduled to meet for the Commission on oil and gas with the parliamentary and Oil Minister Abdul Karim Luaibi, but that the meeting was not held for reasons of vessel."

The cabinet approved the Iraqi draft law of oil and gas in 2007 but faced objections Kurdish, seen by observers that he represents the differences between Arbil and Baghdad on sharing oil revenues and control over some fields in northern Iraq and the Kurdistan region, Iraq is seeking to increase its oil production in the coming years to reach to 12 million barrels per day.
