Announced the National Alliance MP for the Susan Saad said alliance president Ibrahim al-Jaafari to the leaders of political blocs all invitations to a breakfast to his home Tuesday evening.

Iraq is gripped by a political crisis that lasted for several months due to the escalation of disputes between the political blocs on matters concerning the partnership in the state administration as well as other files, has resulted in the continuation of the crisis to the request of some political blocs which [the Kurdistan Alliance, Iraqi National List, the Sadrist movement] to withdraw confidence from the Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, after several meetings were held in each of the governorates of Erbil and Najaf.
The call for the withdrawal of confidence from the al-Maliki over the president had failed after President Talabani on 9 June that the number of signatories to the request to withdraw confidence reached [160] Vice-only which is less than the required number of [163] and called again to hold a national meeting to resolve political crisis, and headed the meeting of Irbil blocks to interrogate al-Maliki in the House of Representatives and then vote to withdraw confidence from it.
