Said MP from the Kurdistan Alliance , Mahmoud Othman , the House has been marginalized in decision-making task, as the decision-making is confined leaders of political blocs.

He added that "it is strange that the House satisfied to keep his role marginalized and therefore it can not afford to ask Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, a report on the readiness of Iraqi security forces to take over security after the U.S. withdrawal after 2011 and that the responsibility for security rests with the al-Maliki in his capacity as Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces ".
The political blocs had held its second meeting under the auspices of President Jalal Talabani on Saturday with a view to resolving the current political crisis experienced by the country as he said Talabani after the end of the meeting reached the leaders of political blocs to form a committee for the implementation of previous agreements and agree on a decision to extend the part of U.S. forces or not.
Othman continued that "the targeting of U.S. forces under the pretext of armed resistance to give the U.S. a pretext to demand the extension of part of his troops after the end of this year under the pretext of self-defense and therefore can not be the withdrawal of its troops as agreed"
Under the security agreement between Baghdad and Washington, the end of November 2008, on the necessity of the withdrawal of all U.S. forces from all territory and waters and airspace of Iraq, not later than 31 December 2011 / End 5.
