Iraq receives in the month of September next first batch of American fighters of the F-16 under a contract worth billions of dollars, according to Agence France-Presse, quoting U.S. officials.
According to these officials, who preferred anonymity, the United States agreed to a deal with Iraq worth $ 12 billion includes the sale of weapons and training contracts, adding that among the Provisions of the deal selling 36 fighter aircraft F-16.
They added that Iraq also wants to get the new monitoring systems and more air defense systems.
