His Excellency Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki met at his office today, a delegation of notables and dignitaries from the BaniKab tribe
the Prime Minister said: the Iraqi politicians should care about all Iraq and not about their own community or their own ethnicity, Iraq today is not what it was in the past and we are seeking to protect and preserve the achievements that have been made so far, the policies of Saddam's regime have harmed Iraq and Iraqis and those who seek to weave conspiracies against Iraq represents an extension to that regime.
He stressed, we've accomplished a lot and we have a long way to go. Iraq rejects the sectarian conflict and we should all work together to end any kind of strife and move forward in the efforts of state-building as all Iraqi people are looking forward to a stable, and prosperous country.
The Prime Minister also said: we are today closer to solving all the problems in accordance with the Constitution and with national dialogue; we support releasing Iraqi detainees, on the condition that their hands were not stained with the blood of innocent people.
His Excellency praised the patriotic positions of Iraqi tribes and their heroic history of defending Iraq and its people, calling on all sons of the Iraqi tribes to be united and support the Government's efforts in promoting security and stability and building state institutions.
