Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -MP, Aboud al-Esawi, of the State of Law Coalition called to “Activate the law of protecting the local products to reduce consuming the imported goods in the process of reconstructing the country.”
He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The local products are suffering from negligence by the governmental institutes.”
He urged to “Implement the custom tariffs and to impose taxes on the foreign imported goods.”
He assured that “The Ministry of Planning, the Ministry of Housing and Reconstruction in addition to the Provincial councils as well as the National Investment Committee must set conditions to oblige the contractors to use the local products in rebuilding process.”
