A joint committee to discuss common positions on the draft oil

BAGHDAD / Bri Center for the Iraqi Media Network - confirmed the Parliamentary Joint Committee (Legal and energy) to hold a second meeting next Wednesday to discuss the possibility of unification of positions on the draft law of oil and energy serve as a basis for discussion.
The decision of the Commission on oil and energy and a member of the Joint Committee Qasim Muhammad's (Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network) that "the joint committee, which includes six members of the oil and the likes of the Legal Committee ended its first meeting today and agreed to hold a second meeting next Wednesday."
He is scheduled to "meeting concluded the need to continue talks for the purpose of the agreement on the choice of a draft oil law among drafts before or blending between drafts and exit one be a basis for discussion," he noted that "the Commission is not looking dilemmas between the central government and the provincial government on the management of oil" .

Article (111) of the Constitution reads as follows: "Oil and gas is the property of all the Iraqi people in all the regions and governorates," while Article (112) reads as follows: "
First: The federal government will administer oil and gas extracted from current fields with the governments of the producing regions and provinces, to be distributed and imports fairly commensurate with the population distribution in all parts of the country. "
