Free Zones discuss establishing grand investment project in Fao free zone

Baghdad (AIN) -The General Authority for Free Zones within the Ministry of Finance held "A seminar under the title of (The grand investment project for economic free zone in Fao triangle) with attendance of representatives from Ministry of Transportation, the National Investment Commission, Iraqi Institute for Economic Reforms, and the International Office for Consultations and Studies."
A statement by the Authority quoted the Director General of the Authority, Sabah Saleh al-Qaysi, as saying "Establishing this project requires unifying the efforts to find a single side for investment that assumes the process of organizing and succeeding this proposal."
"This project will have positive impact on the Iraqi economy if ratified," he affirmed.
Qaisi emphasized necessity of "Uniting efforts rather than distracting the investment efforts in order not to lose the available opportunities for investment."
"The Iraqi Free Zones have the legal, technical and elements that qualify them to be a foundation stone for the project of the International Economic Free Zone," he confirmed. /End/
