Ashti Hawrami said in a press conference for the Turkish city of Istanbul energy that "the region is expected an initial settlement payments trillion dinars approximately {858} million from the central government in Baghdad next week after the two sides reached an agreement on pay dues to the oil producers."
He stressed that "the Kurdistan region will resume exports in October at a rate of 200 thousand barrels per day after an agreement was reached earlier this month and will continue to export at this level until the end of 2012."
Hawrami said that "the Kurdistan Regional Government expects to reach the level of exports target for 2015 of one million barrels per day even if there were other disruptions."
The Iraqi government announced the agreement on the settlement of payments with the Kurdistan region after a Kurdish delegation visit to Baghdad. Ended
