Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) -The Nineveh Provincial Council has voted unanimously to allocate IQD (1,700) million to support the national identity card project.
Memberof the Provincial Council, Qasem Saleh, reported in statement to IraqiNews.com that ”The Council held a session on Wednesday afternoon and agreed unanimously to allocate IQD (1,700) million, from the budget of developing regions or from the current budget surplus of 2012, to support the national identity card project.”
The statement added that ”The unified identity national card which will be adopted all over Iraq will replace the civil identity card and the nationality card as well as residential address card,” stressing that “The new card will provide integrated data base for all citizens to take advantage of it in all directorates in the province.” \
