Central confirms the low percentage of dealers with banks

said the Iraqi Central Bank, that about three million Iraqis only are the clients of the banks in the whole country, what constitutes 3 percent of the total population of less significantly from the normal level of 60 percent. said deputy central bank governor Mohamed Mazhar Saleh (Center Brief Iraqi Media Network) that "the latest statistics for the number of banking customers amounted to about three million people across the country and this is evidence of weakness banking so accounted for 3 percent of the total population and this percentage came after were added retired after giving them credit cards." He added that "in the countries of the world advanced proportion banking customers for people of 20 years about 60 percent of the total population, so there weakness in the banking reality of Iraq." And confirms the central bank that Iraq suffers from low per capita banking services to reach an average to one bank per 40 thousand inhabitants, a rate that constitutes a big difference from what exists in neighboring countries.
