Vice President of the Kurdistan region confirms Chalabi continued efforts to hold national conference

{Baghdad: Euphrates News} Deputy President of the Kurdistan region Kosrat Ali continued efforts to bring the views and opinions between the parties and political blocs to National Conference was held under the supervision of President Jalal Talabani to save Iraq from the current crisis taking place.
A statement issued by the Presidency of the Kurdistan Region today received and Euphrates News Agency {} a copy of it that "Ali received on Thursday, Ahmed Chalabi, head of the Iraqi National Congress and the delegation accompanying him."
He added that "the two sides discussed the situation in Iraq and the region, as well touched upon the relations between the Kurdistan Regional Government and Baghdad."
The statement continued that "the Vice President of the region highlighted the efforts to strengthen the relations between the political parties in order to reach an agreement out of Iraq of the problems faced by".
The statement quoted Ali as saying that "the continuous efforts in bringing the views and opinions with a view to convening the National Congress under the supervision of the President of the Republic."
