Brahimi in Moscow next Monday to discuss the Syrian crisis
Agencies - a spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Ukashević Friday that the Special Envoy of the United Nations and the Arab League to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi will visit Moscow next Monday.
The site said ADP News, citing the Russian news agency (RIA Novosti) to Ukashević said "wait on a Monday and the arrival of the Special Envoy of the United Nations and the Arab League Lakhdar Brahimi to Moscow for a short visit."
He said that Brahimi will discuss with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, "the subsequent process steps to resolve the crisis in Syria."
The spokesman said that the situation in Syria remains complex, difficult, noting that "the government forces face of armed opposition factions that receive various assistance from abroad on an ongoing basis."
Furthermore, he pointed to Ukashević to working visit to Lavrov to Egypt starting on November 4 / November and continue until 5 thereof.
Then Lavrov will travel to Jordan to meet there with King Abdullah II and Palestinian National Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas.
The visit will begin Lavrov to Jordan on November 5 / November and will continue until 6 thereof. Q, Q
