Parliamentary Finance Committee revealed, Monday, that the House of Representatives voted to allocate the amount of seven billion and 500 million Iraqi dinars to buy armored cars for judges.
Committee member said Adel al-Maliki in a statement obtained by "obelisk", a copy of which, "The House of Representatives voted within the budget of the Supreme Judicial allocated seven billion and 500 million Iraqi dinars to buy armored cars for Iraqi judges."
He explained that "the presidency of the parliament agreed to allocate six cars each Iraqi judge," pointing out that "the total number of cars of 100 armored car."
He added that "the parliament voted after a request by the Legal Committee to buy cars after the assassinations of Iraqi judges in recent times."
The session saw Parliament, on Monday, to discuss the general budget for next year, which includes 387 billion and 758 115 000 dinars as a budget proposed for the Supreme Judicial Council, and 470 billion and 328 200 000 dinars counterbalance proposed House of Representatives in 2013.
The number of Iraqi judges have been subjected to assassinations car bomb explosions and improvised explosive devices and weapons with silencers by unidentified gunmen, while still the security situation in a large number of Iraqi cities unstable.
