Iqbal stresses necessity of hosting Talabani in parliament over his recent contacts with blocs

Baghdad (AIN) –MP, Mohamed Iqbal, of the Iraqiya Slate stressed the necessity of hosting the President, Jalal Talabani, in the parliament to discuss his recent efforts and contacts with the political blocs to know their results.
He stated to All Iraq News Agency (AIN) "It is beneficiary to host the executive authority by the parliament to discuss many issues including the political crisis, Ration Card foodstuffs and corruption suspicions related to the armament contracts in addition to the issue of the national meeting."
"In case we host Talabani, the details will not be discussed till after holding a special session with the heads of the political blocs," he concluded.
Earlier, MP, Abdul Salaam al-Maliki, of the State of Law Coalition stated that the President, Jalal Talabani, will release a new initiative to settle the political crisis in Iraq.
Speaking to All Iraqi News Agency (AIN), he said " The new initiative will include the call to hold the national meeting and the adherence to the reformation as the main principle in addition to settle all the crises according to the constitution and applying the former deals."
