A high-ranking source from within the National Alliance coalition that Prime Ibrahim Jaafari plans to visit Kurdistan soon.
The source said the Agency (UR), who declined to be named, said, "alliance president Ibrahim al-Jaafari will visit to Kurdistan after returning from Iran for the purpose of improve the atmosphere between Baghdad and the region," adding that "the last meeting, which brought together Maliki with Jaafari at the home of the latter had in which they agreed to such a visit. "
The source added that "al-Jaafari will carry with him to Arbil several important topics in order to solve them, the most important of the recent escalation that has occurred on Operations Command Tigris and also remarks by President Jalal Talabani in which he criticized the Maliki unusually," stressing that "al-Maliki gave the Jafari green light to negotiate all files, but did not assure him of the possibility of resolving all. "
