Saw a member of the Committee on the economy and investment parliamentary Ibrahim Rikabi that the five-year plan set by the Ministry of Planning will strengthen the national economy and diversification of financial revenues and will reduce the adoption of future budgets on oil revenues.
Rikabi, in a press statement, received and agency news news (et) a copy of the Ministry of Planning has prepared five-year plan for economic development (2013 - 2017) and in cooperation with relevant ministries and provincial councils and under the supervision of the Economic Commission parliamentary, to diversify state revenues financial and reducing reliance on revenue unilateral achieved from oil sales.
He added that the plan will stimulate other economic sectors such as tourism, agriculture and industry for the purpose of promotion as well as the activation of tariff and tax measures to diversify the federal income in the construction budget.
The member of the Committee on the economy and investment parliamentary that total dependence on oil revenues is a danger to the national economy, because the region and the world they live a state of political tensions and international threats that directly affect the price of oil or transferred Kiglaq Strait of Hormuz or the like, we must work on diversifying sources of national income, pointing out that the diversification of the Iraqi economy will create real competition between sectors to contribute to it.
