Remaining forces are not conducting joint operations
MP for the National Alliance, Jawad Albzona a prospective agreement between the Iraqi government and U.S. states to the survival of a number of U.S. troops without a vote by parliament.
Albzona said that the Iraqi government agreed on the proposal in the U.S. to remain a part of his forces to train and equip the Iraqi army, noting that their survival would be no joint operations with Iraqi forces. He added that the Prime Minister will give the power to determine their need for security ministries, the number of U.S. troops will need. He pointed out that the agreement did not need to parliamentary approval, and it needs to signed by Iraqi Prime Minister and representative of the United States.
For his part, MP for the Liberal bloc Rafi Abd al-Jabbar on the government to reverse its policies and tactics, which he described as provocative because of the campaigns of arbitrary arrests carried out by the joint forces US-Iraqi province of Maysan and others, warning of the government's loss of an important ally in reference to the Sadrist movement itself.
And Abdel-Jabbar said that the government and security forces to form a room operations in Maysan province, led by the commander of ground forces, in coordination with the occupation forces and launched raids and arbitrary arrests and intimidation of women and children has no justification but to try to drag the Sadrist movement to armed confrontation for the purpose of creating chaos, security leads the result to demand U.S. troops to stay beyond the end of the current year, as he put it, noting that the Sadrist movement is committed to the decision to freeze the Mahdi Army.
