Baghdad (AIN) –The office of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, announced that Maliki has no Facebook or Twitter account.

Maliki's official website posted a clarification involved "Due to many social communication pages in Facebook and Twitter attributed to Maliki, we confirm that Maliki has no Facebook or Twitter account."

About ten pages attributed to Maliki, most of them are supporting him except one page named as "Opposition of Nouri al-Maliki."
