Iraq officially reached a final agreement today to settle the file with Kuwait Airways

{Baghdad: Euphrates News} declared legal adviser to the Prime Minister Fadel Muhammad said he agreed to pay $ {500} million to settle a file with Kuwait Airways.
Mohammed said in a statement to the Euphrates News Agency {} today that "Iraq signed an agreement with the State of Kuwait to settle file Kuwait Airways stuck between the two sides for {20} years."
He added that "Kuwait Airways has before {20} years sued the government Aerlaqah and Iraqi Airways and some ministries Iraqi demanding payment billion and {300} thousand dollars in addition to booked all Iraqi funds and prevent Iraqi aircraft from flying in the world."
He pointed out that "we have reached on Wednesday an agreement to pay an amount of {500} million after being waived cases against Iraqi Airways and dropping cases brought right across the world and return to Iraqi Airways and our planes back to normal."
The committee in charge of the settlement file debt Iraqi Airways announced it would resume starting from last Monday, held talks with Kuwait Airways in London for the purpose of access to a final agreement on the mechanism for dropping all lawsuits against Iraqi Airways.
The Ministry of Transport announced late last month that he decided to pay off the debts owed by Iraqi Airways for the benefit of the Kuwaiti counterpart at once in order to close the file of the debt completely. Ended
