Iraqi Finance Minister Maliki calls to resign after the arrest of his ministry guards

The Minister called the Iraqi Finance Rafie al-Issawi Thursday Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to resign on the back of the arrest of dozens of individuals to protect his ministry. Issawi said at a press conference joined by House Speaker Osama Najafi and Deputy Prime Minister for Services Affairs Saleh al-Mutlaq and a number of ministers "call on the Prime Minister to resign because he did not act as a statesman.
