The Babiker, Government policy seeks to provide all facilities to the investors in order to participate in the construction, reconstruction and building infrastructure.

The other hand, predicted the Iraqi Grain Board President Ibrahim al-Hassan in an interview with Reuters last week that "the total wheat crop of 1.75 million tons in 2011, below expectations and down from 1.866 million tonnes last year due to drought."
Ibrahim said that the main reason is bad weather and drought that hit northern Iraq, noting that the rains came late. Ibrahim said, "Iraq bought enough rice and entered into contracts to ensure cover its needs for the year 2011."
