British Minister: Iraq played an important role in the region and to exercise session to stop the bloodshed of Syria

And the British Embassy statement said the Agency received {Euphrates news} on Wednesday that "this is the first visit of a British Energy Minister of Iraq has focused on issues involving energy, trade and economic relations between the United Kingdom and Iraq and the situation in the region and Syria in particular."
The British Minister said that Iraq has an important role in the region, and encouraged the Iraqi leaders to play their role and exercise their influence to stop the bloodshed in Syria, and be a force for stability in the region ".
"The Minister discussed the opportunities for British companies to work in Iraq, noting that Baghdad was keen to work with London in various fields and all levels.
"What happened in the province of Kirkuk today of attacks claimed the lives of dozens and wounded has reminded us of the challenges still facing Iraq."
Saimondz condemned the "terrorist attacks in Kirkuk and offered his condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims."
The British Minister also met Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs Hussein Shahristani and senior officials in the ministries of electricity and the environment.
