Prime Minister of Kurdistan region of Iraq, Wednesday, the head of region Massoud Barzani met with Arab tribes from Central and southern Iraq, saying the tribes had an initiative to resolve the problems between the region and Baghdad.
The Presidency said in a statement issued today, and received "alsumaria news", the "Kurdistan Regional President Massoud Barzani met today with a delegation from the city of Arbil Arabic tribes in the South and Centre, headed by Amir Sheikh Fawaz Mohammed shammar tribe Dhiab Al-jarba", stating that "Al-jarba on behalf of Arabic clans to the Chairman of the regional initiative to resolve the problems between the region and Baghdad."
The Presidency said that "Prince of shammar tribe told Barzani that the Arabic clans will not participate in any way in national conflicts and their role in resolving the ethnic problem which has become a threat to the House.
The Presidency quoted Barzani as saying that "the territory with all initiatives aimed at solving the problems in Iraq away from force and weapons, and against the conflict in Iraq."
The two in the Kurdistan Regional Government, (13 January 2013), her delegation agreed with the negotiator Baghdad on several points on Sunday, will meet to unify views on the disputed points between the two sides.
