MoP allocates funds to establish electricity station in Maysan

Maysan, Amara (AIN) –Maysan governorate announced obtaining the required approvals to establish a typical electricity station in Maysan province during 2013.
The Head of the Provincial Council, Abdul Hussein Abdul Reda, mentioned to AIN on Sunday ''The Ministry of Planning has approved a proposal to allocate the funds, from the revenues of the petro-dollar project, to build an electricity station with a capacity of (200-250 MW) in Maysan province.''
He added ''The Ministry of Oil and Maysan Oil company also approved to equip the electricity station, which is expected to be accomplished in 2013, with the fuel required to operate it.''
