Chalabi, US, Turkish Ambassadors, Kobler, Zibari discuss current crisis in Iraq

Baghdad (AIN) -The head of the Iraqi National Congress, Ahmed al-Chalabi, discussed with each of the US and Turkish Ambassadors to Iraq, UN Secretary General's Special Representative for Iraq and the Iraqi Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hoshyar Zibari, the developments of the political crisis in Iraq.
Chalabi's office cited "The head of the INC received, individually at his office in Baghdad, each of the US Ambassador to Iraq, Steven Beecroft, the Turkish Ambassador to Iraq, Yunis Dimirir, and the UN SGSR for Iraq, Martin Kobler," noting that "Chalabi has visited Zibari."
"The visit came to discuss the developments on the Iraqi political arena and means of addressing it," the statement concluded. /End/
