Baghdad (AIN) –MP, Sami al-Askari, the member of the Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee criticized the performance of the Foreign Ministry in the international and regional levels.
Speaking to All Iraqi News Agency (AIN), he said "The diplomatic activity of the FM did not develop the foreign policy of Iraq and if it continues like that, Iraq will be in a bad situation."
"The diplomatic activity is developed through some other sides such as the diplomatic foundations and some foundations belongs to the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, in addition to the FM," he added.
"Most of the diplomatic activities are not done by the Foreign Minister of the FM due to the routine that they follow such as attending the conferences where the regional and the international relations were not created by the efforts of the FM," he concluded.
Some observers criticize the performance of the FM regarding some regional and international issues such as releasing Iraq from the Seventh Chapter of the UN's Charter. /End/
