Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -The Independent MP, Khalid al-Romi, stated that the general budget of 2013 is about to be endorsed and the political disputes will not hinder that.
Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said ” The political tensions directly affect endorsing the laws especially those which require political deal,” noting that “The general budget of 2013 was read for two times and discussed by the MPs in addition to handling some notes about it to the Parliamentary Financial Committee.”
“The Parliamentary Legal Committee needs to hold several meetings with the ministries and the specialized committees before voting on the budget,” he added, assuring that “The former budgets were endorsed in February and March where it is early to talk about delaying endorsing the general budget of 2013
