Iraq urges Australian companies to invest in Iraq

Baghdad (AIN) –Iraq urged the Australian companies to contribute in investment in Iraq.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs mentioned in statement received by AIN ''The Iraqi Ambassador to Canberra, Muayed Saleh, had a meeting with the Australian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Peter Virgiz, within the framework of the annual meeting of the Council of Arab Ambassadors with the Australian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.''
''During the meeting, the two sides discussed the mutual economic relations between the two countries," the statement added, noting that "The Iraqi Ambassador urged the Australian companies to invest in Iraq.''
