"Gate" Baghdad - hundreds of people staged a sit in front of the parliament building Tuesday to protest the delay in approving the federal budget law for 2013.
The protesters carried banners calling for passage of the federal budget after a delay negatively on the lives of citizens.
And demanded religious authority Supreme on the San Matmayora Sheikh Abdel Mahdi al-Karbalai during Friday prayers to "speed up the approval of the general budget of the country," asserting that "to postpone the ratification of the federal budget leads to delay service projects and projects of other ministries and provincial councils in the provision of services to citizens, as well as delay the provision of jobs for the unemployed and there are other repercussions including social impact on Iraqi society. "
The Council of Ministers approved in [23 October 2012] on the budget year 2013 value {138} trillion Iraqi dinars on the basis of calculating price of a barrel of oil at {90} dollars per barrel and the quantity two and {900} thousand barrels per day, but the adoption of witnessing the throes of difficult in House of Representatives because of political pressure.
To the Baghdad Operations Command announced closure of roads near the place of the protesters in front of the parliament building to demand the passage of the federal budget.
The deputy commander of the Baghdad Operations Lt. Gen. Hassan al-Baidhani in a statement today, "it was very close roads near the whereabouts of the protesters and that as a precautionary measure in anticipation of terrorist incidents aimed at the protesters."
And that he "was opened roads were closed to be a substitute for the roads that have been closed."
