Iraqi Government to supply owners of electric generators with fuel free of charge, official

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Iraqi Council of Ministers has decided to supply owners of private and state-owned electric generators, supplying electric power to houses in Iraq, with gasoline, free of charge, provided they would commission them 12 hours daily, the State Minister and Official Spokesman for the Iraqi government, Ali al-Dabbagh said on Wednesday.
“The Council of Ministers has decided in its 25th session to supply the private and state-owned generators, supplying electric power to Iraqi houses with the fuel of gasoline, free of charge, provided they would commission them for 12 hours daily,” Dabbagh said in a statement, copy of which was received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
