Accused a member of the Committee for the economy and investment representative Ahmed al-Alwani political views, he did not identify, to "put pressure on the management of the Central Bank for the purpose of blackmail."
He explained, "The management of the Central Bank of Iraq has proved over the years it is a good professional and not dust on her."
"It is unfortunate that some politicians exert pressure on management of the Central Bank through media statements and accusations that are not unfounded." He continued that "these pressures by some parties it is only an attempt to blackmail and profiteering," and urged: "deal professionally and impartially based on the Central Bank, and not to charge them without having conclusive evidence."
The Iraqi List MP Talal Zobaie had called on the government to "re-deputy governor of the Central Bank of the appearance of Mohammed Saleh to his job after he was released for lack of any conviction against him." "The arrests suffered by the deputy governor of the Bank and a group of employees affected central bank policy and it turned out they were innocent and the government should work to do right by him back to his job, especially as he served the state for decades."
